Acupuncture for Neck Pain

Neck pain is one of the most common ailments we acupuncturists see in our clinics. Many people spend copious amounts of time with their heads down, looking at their phone or computer, a position which puts a lot of strain on the neck. Whatever the cause, acupuncture can help relieve the aching and tension of neck pain.

The channel that is most connected to the neck is called the Bladder Channel. This is the longest and most expansive channel in the body, spanning the head, spine and all the way down to the feet. Because of its location at the back of the body, this channel is very often used to treat neck pain. Neck pain is not always so straightforward, though, as many different channels run through the neck and shoulders. Before your treatment, we will have a comprehensive intake where we can figure out exactly where your neck pain is originating from, and treat it as such.
